Road Machinery started business in 1955. Over the next 50 plus years, we have expanded our products, region and services to better serve our customers.

Where is Road Machinery located?
Our new corporate office is in Phoenix, with our Engine, Transmission and Electrical Rotating remanufacturing shops at our original location, also in Phoenix. We have many full service branch locations throughout the states of Arizona, California and New Mexico, and a location in El Paso Texas.

Road Machinery sells all the Komatsu products for the construction and Mining industries. We also sell the Wirtgen line (Wirtgen, Hamm, Vogele) of paving and compacting machines, and we also sell and service several other brands which make high quality attachments for the machines we sell.
What type of attachments do you sell?
We sell attachments for just about every type of project that a customer might use their machine for. In addition to the many different types of loader and excavator buckets, we also sell and service blades, ground engaging tools, hydraulic hammers, material processors, forks, and compaction wheels and many more.
What does "Remanufacture mean"?
The technical definition is "Remanufacturing is the process of complete disassembly and recovery of the unit into a condition equal to or better than the original."
What products or components do you remanufacture?
We remanufacture diesel engines, electric wheel motors, transmissions and hydraulic cylinders and pumps.
What types of diesel engines do you rebuild and/or remanufacture?
We rebuild and remanufacture all most Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Komatsu engines.
What level of remanufacturing does your wheel motor facility perform?
We are a Class 1 GE Authorized rebuild center for GE electric wheel motors found on Komatsu, Caterpillar and Terex dump trucks.
What types of hydraulics do you remanufacture?
We remanufacture and repair just about every make and model of hydraulic motors, pumps, valves, cylinders and suspensions. We also do our own chrome plating, which aids in our fast turn time.
Can Road machinery work on other manufactures of construction equipment like Caterpillar and John Deere?
Yes, because of the training and knowledge of our service technicians, we are able to work on most of the other manufactures construction and mining equipment, including Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo and many others.
