Road Machinery is becoming a Gates Dealer
As part of our ongoing work to broaden the services we provide to our customers, Road Machinery has become the Gates Hose distributor. Our Road machinery locations have a fully trained staff ready with a complete and comprehensive inventory of hydraulic hose and fittings.
The following locations are fully equipped hydraulic hose and fitting service centers, and are stocked to meet the local machine population that includes all OEM brand (such as Komatsu, CAT, John Deere), as well as the basic needs for any hydraulic hose requirement.

All servicing locations have received Gates certified training at the Gates Training Center in Denver. The Gates certification program includes product knowledge, safety, and hands on experience in building hydraulic hoses.
One of the reasons we have chosen Gates, in addition to their reputation for quality products, is the web based real time hose assembly interchange program called "Quick Pic". The Gates proprietary "Quick Pic" system provides quick and accurate crossover information for many of the OEMs hose assemblies. The information also provides technical information to assist in the hose assembly process that will support providing a high quality hose assembly to the customer. With Quick Pic you just call in the hose assembly and the parts counter can match it with the correct new hose.
Road Machinery, with the assistance of Gates, utilizes their Accurate Inventory Management (AIM) system to identify the construction/mining machine population at each location. With this information, Road Machinery is able to stock inventory specific to the machines that surround each location. With the AIM system, there is no need to do hose and fitting based equipment surveys to ‘get it right" like in times past. Road Machinery will also add additional inventory based on customer’s specific needs.
Our inventory will start from 1/4" 2 wire hydraulic hoses and continuing thru 2" 5000 PSI 6 spiral hydraulic hoses and everything in between. Our comprehensive inventory will also include JIC straights 45’s and 90’s and long drop configurations. Pipe and pipe thread swivels, Full face seal up to 2" in straights 45’s and 90’s. Flanges; code 61,code 62 and Cat flanges in all configurations, jumps and differing degree’s of bend from straight all the way through 120 degree bent tube.
With the "Quick Pic" and AIM programs, we are able to accurately identify and replace most Komatsu hoses, along with most of the hoses on your other equipment including CAT, Deere, Case, Wirtgen and Volvo and well as many others.
