Parts Return Policy
(Effective November 8, 2011)

New Parts

All parts sold are subject each manufacturer’s parts return policy and warranty guidelines. Listed below are the parts return guidelines for Road Machinery. Contact the local Parts Manager for specific questions.

Parts must be:

  • Must be in new and salable condition and in original packaging

  • Returnable to the supplier

  • Without damage, previously installed, or disassembled

  • A minimum of $5.00 per unit value

  • Copy of original purchase document

  • Return within 60 days of invoice purchase date

Parts considered non-returnable include, but not limited to the following:

  • Parts/Service & Maintenance manuals/books

  • Electrical parts & electronic components

  • Glass

  • Replaced, or obsolete part numbers as identified by the manufacturer

  • Parts cut to length (such hose and tubing)

  • Opened kits (such as gasket kits & rebuild kits)

  • Made to order non-returnable / special order parts

  • Parts purchased over 60 days from purchase invoice date

  • Any parts that have been installed and then removed with the intent to return

Used Parts:

  • Parts purchased as Used Parts are not returnable unless approved by the vendor in writing

Handling fees for parts accepted for return are:

  • Parts returned 0-30 days

    • 15%
  • Parts returned 31-60 day

    • 20%
  • Parts returned over 60 days from invoice date

    • Non-returnable unless approved by the Corporate General Parts Manager and the Director Product Support
  • Additional fees if applicable from vendor

Cores:

  • Cores must be returned within the guidelines of each vendor to receive full core credits..
